As a new student entering the MRED program, the faculty encourages you to assess your basic knowledge of real estate terminology, spreadsheet modeling and Excel, and finance before orientation.
Faculty members assume that all students entering the program will have some basic knowledge of these skills indicated in the sections below. Keep this information in mind when deciding which preparatory tool to utilize. The two online courses listed below are good examples that you can take advantage of, but these are not required if you find alternative material.

Getting up to Speed: Excel, Statistics, and Real Estate Fundamentals.
There are several modules set up on Canvas to help you refresh your Excel, Statistics, and Real Estate skills and/or advance your skills to better prepare you for the program. We strongly encourage you to complete all modules prior to the start of class.
