Supply Chain Management Concentration
The Supply Chain Management concentration offers students a course sequence that creates change managers of procurement, operations, and logistics in a global economy. Supply Chain Management graduates are the new generals of the global marketplace. From raw materials to finished products, supply chain managers know how to add value to the entire company, manage and lead change, control costs and increase quality while maximizing profits.
Supply chain management focuses on the integration and partnerships necessary to meet customer needs on a timely basis. With relevant, high-quality products or services produced and delivered in a cost-effective manner to achieve value chain excellence. This concentration trains managers to be strategic thinkers, excellent analysts, effective communicators with multi-functional and multi-cultural stakeholders, as well as team leaders who are focused on cost savings and increasing revenue. You develop skills in cost analysis, supplier development, cross-functional initiatives, project management, global operating capacity, and inventory management.
