Parker Barry is the Graduate Student Recruiter for the Evening and Full-Time MBA programs. He graduated from Northern Arizona University with an undergraduate degree in Finance, along with a certificate in Marketing. After graduating, Parker moved down to the Phoenix valley and spent 3 years in technology recruiting and sales. Originally from California, he loves being outdoors, grilling, and watching sports in his free time. Parker is happy to answer questions you may have and assist with your future endeavors.

Natalie Zermeno is the program manager for the Full-time MBA program at the W. P. Carey School of Business. Natalie is originally from Minnesota where she completed her undergraduate degree in Global Business Leadership and Political Science from The College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University. She has a Master’s in Organizational Leadership from Southern Nazarene University and is passionate about higher education and change management. Natalie is currently enrolled at ASU in an EdD program to address and research student success. You can find her at the park with her two dogs, hiking, or reading an excellent book when she is not at work!

Erica Day is the associate director for the Full-time MBA program. She earned her Master of TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) degree from ASU and has worked in higher education since 2009. Before coming to W. P. Carey in 2018, Erica spent seven years in northeast China studying Mandarin and teaching English to Chinese college students. When she's not at work, you can find Erica volunteering in the community, trying out new restaurants, or planning her next trip.

Linette Kalandos currently serves as the Graduate Programs Student Services Support Coordinator for the Full-time MBA program in the W. P. Carey School of Business. She graduated with her B.A. in English and a TESOL certification from ASU in 2021 before obtaining her M.A. in Applied Linguistics from Teachers College, Columbia University in 2024. Linette leverages her passion for higher education and her diverse professional background to provide comprehensive support to the FT MBA students—supporting them through their academic journeys with a breadth of knowledge and varied experiences. In her free time, Linette enjoys hiking, doing yoga, and reading books.

Grace Valandra is the student support specialist for Program Operations, supporting Full-time, Evening, and Online MBA. Grace graduated from ASU with her B.A. in Sports Business and B.S. in Marketing in 2023. Before working at ASU, she worked in hospitality and customer service. She is happy to be back at W. P. Carey now supporting MBA students. In her free time, Grace enjoys hanging out with her dogs, reading and cooking.

Your Faculty Directors

Dr. Nitin Walia is the Faculty Director for Full-time MBA and a Full Clinical Professor at the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University (ASU). He joined ASU in 2022 after a distinguished 12-year tenure at Ashland University -Ohio, serving in various capacities (Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Program Director). Dr. Walia holds a Ph.D. in management information systems from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and M.S. degrees from Oakland University, MI, and Pune University, India. His professional experience includes working as an Analyst at 3M, USA, and BayTalkitec in India.

Dr. Walia’s primary research interests include business analytics, data mining, healthcare delivery systems, and online marketplaces. He is also working on issues related to providing medical services through virtual worlds. His work has been published in several national and international journals.
