Concurrent Degrees
Concurrent degree options allow you to combine your with another master’s degree in less time and for less expense than earning them separately — maximizing your time in graduate school. Your career and your interests can go in a number of directions. Whether you want to deepen existing knowledge while you earn your MBA or you see a new opportunity on the horizon, concurrent degrees can add tremendous value to your education and your long-term prospects.
MBA/Juris Doctor
The MBA/Juris Doctor is offered in conjunction with the ASU College of Law. Students are strongly encouraged to apply and obtain confirmation of acceptance from both programs well in advance of enrollment, as applicants and admission criteria are extremely competitive, and acceptance to one program does not guarantee acceptance to the other. The two degrees can be completed in four years.
The MBA will accept nine elective credits from the JD to apply to the MBA program of study. These programs require students complete 36 credit hours in MBA. To complete this in one year, we will waive MBA Ethical Studies course and students must complete MGT 589 with the Evening MBA (for time/cost saving purposes). To fulfill the 36 credit hours, an additional elective will be required.
MBA/Master of Accountancy (Dual Degree)
Develop expertise in advanced accounting topics. The W. P. Carey Master of Accountancy (MACC) program fulfills course requirements for the CPA exam in Arizona and California, preparing you for a variety of careers in accounting. Prerequisite courses are required to be eligible for the MACC program.
Through case methods and group discussion, you'll not only deepen your knowledge, you'll also strengthen your strategic thinking, decision-making, and communication skills. The School of Accountancy is highly ranked by The Public Accounting Report, and you'll learn from esteemed faculty who bring decades of real-world experience into each class.
The MBA and MACC will share credits on each program of study. Please meet with your coordinator to review the concurrent degree curriculum and how credits will be shared. Students must complete a full concentration to meet graduation requirements.

MBA/Master of Architecture
The MBA/Master of Architecture is offered in conjunction with the ASU College of Architecture and Environmental Design. It is for students who wish to obtain comprehensive business knowledge to complement their design education. Students begin their studies in the School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture and finish in the W. P. Carey School of Business.
The MBA will accept 12 elective credits from the MArch to apply to the MBA program of study.These programs require students complete 48 credit hours in MBA. Students must complete MGT 589 with the Evening MBA (for time/cost-saving purposes).
Application Process
Students are required to meet the admission requirements for each program. Acceptance to the Master of Architecture program does not guarantee acceptance to the MBA.
MBA/Master of Science in Business Analytics
The W. P. Carey MS-BA is a specialized degree program designed to deepen your quantitative and analytical skills, and you’ll discover how to derive value from data, lead data-driven analyses, and create a business advantage across markets and industries. Delivered by the highly ranked W. P. Carey Departments of Information Systems and Supply Chain Management, the Master of Science in Business Analytics (MS-BA) builds on your quantitative skills and develops the analytics depth you need to make an immediate impact.
The MBA and MS-BA will share credits on each program of study. Please meet with your coordinator to review the concurrent degree curriculum and how credits will be shared. Students must complete a full concentration other than Business Analytics to meet graduation requirements.

MBA/Master of Science in Finance (Dual Degree)
W. P. Carey Master of Science in Finance (MS-FIN) delivers a leading-edge curriculum balanced between finance and asset/portfolio management. With the MS-FIN degree, you’ll be prepared for a range of career opportunities, including corporate finance, risk management, money management, financial planning, investment banking, consulting, or real estate.

MBA/Master of Science in Information Management (Dual Degree)
The Master of Science in Information Management educates business professionals in the strategic use of technology to create shareholder value. Graduates of the program are prepared to help shape organizations in a rapidly changing, globally competitive, technologically sophisticated environment. For those interested in leading their firm's strategic uses of information technology, the Master of Science in Information Management (MS-IM) provides an outstanding foundation of technical and managerial expertise.

MBA/Master of Taxation (Dual Degree)
The Master of Taxation (MTax) is a specialized degree program designed to equip students with the highly technical and demanding skills required to provide tax and business advice in the private sector and to administer the tax laws in the public sector of the economy. The program prepares students for entry-level positions in taxation and provides graduate-level education for tax professionals who desire to enhance their skills.
The MBA and M-TAX will share credits on each program of study. Please meet with your coordinator to review the concurrent degree curriculum and how credits will be shared. Students must complete a full concentration to meet graduate requirements.
