Carly Scola is the Graduate Student Recruiter for the working professional programs. She specializes in Online MBA, MS-BA, OMS-MACC, and MS-MKT. Carly was born and raised in Arizona where she completed her undergraduate degree at Arizona State University in Communication. Carly was a part of the Women’s Gymnastics team as a vault specialist during her undergraduate years. Carly also has her Master’s degree in Kinesiology with a coaching emphasis from Georgia Southern University. Outside of work she enjoys working out, being in the sunshine, and spending time with loved ones. Carly is passionate about serving others and impacting the lives around her. She is excited to support you and your future goals!

Adia Taylor is the Program Coordinator for the Online MBA Program. Adia recently moved to Arizona from Salt Lake City, Utah, where she earned her Bachelor's degree from Westminster College. She has recently transitioned roles to support students, but has also held roles in administrative and faculty support. In her free time, she loves walking her dog and reading. She is excited to get to know you and support you on your academic journey.

Maiya Huft is an Academic Success Advisor for the Online MBA Program. Maiya is a Tempe native and attended ASU where she earned both her Bachelor’s degree in Family and Human Development with a minor in Anthropology, as well as a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. Outside of work, she loves relaxing with her cats and reading. She is looking forward to connecting with students and being of assistance to them in their academic experience.

Elizabeth (Liz) Sortais is your Director, overseeing all Professional MBA Programs. Born in the Philippines but raised in Arizona, Liz attended ASU and earned her bachelor's degrees in sociology and communication, as well as a master's degree in higher education. Liz has over 12 years of higher education, student development, and event planning experience and is looking forward to using her skills to promote your success.
Grace Valandra is the student support specialist for Program Operations, supporting Full-time, Evening, and Online MBA. Grace graduated from ASU with her B.A. in Sports Business and B.S. in Marketing in 2023. Before working at ASU, she worked in hospitality and customer service. She is happy to be back at W. P. Carey, now supporting MBA students. In her free time, Grace enjoys hanging out with her dogs, reading and cooking.

Your Faculty Director
Erin Jordan is the Senior Faculty Director of MBA Programs and a Clinical Associate Professor in the School of Accountancy. She joined the faculty of the W. P. Carey School of Business and is a proud Sun Devil and W. P. Carey alumna. Dr. Jordan's primary research interests focus on the role of accounting information and information intermediaries in capital markets.
Dr. Jordan has a background in the pharmaceutical and medical device industry where she worked in research and development for large multinational pharmaceutical companies like GlaxoSmithKline and Johnson & Johnson. Dr. Jordan earned her Ph.D. in accounting from Arizona State University, Master of Business Administration from Arizona State University, and Bachelor's degrees in mathematics and biology from Claremont McKenna College.
John Fowler is the Motorola Professor of Supply Chain Management in the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. He served as the department chair of supply chain management from 2011-2016. Prior to that he was the Avnet Professor of Industrial Engineering at ASU. His research interests include discrete event simulation, deterministic scheduling, and multi-criteria decision making. He has published more than 120 journal articles and more than 100 conference papers.
Professor Fowler recently served as editor-in-chief for IIE Transactions on Healthcare Systems Engineering and continues to be the department editor for Healthcare Operations Management at the journal. He is an editor of the Journal of Simulation and associate editor of IEEE Transactions on Semiconductor Manufacturing. He is a fellow of the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers and recently served as the vice president for continuing education. He is a former INFORMS vice president, and served on the Winter Simulation Conference board of directors from 2005-2017. He was also the program chair for the 2002 and 2008 Industrial Engineering Research Conferences and the 2008 Winter Simulation Conference.
