Abby Washington is the Program Manager for the MACC, Online MACC and MTAX programs with the W.P. Carey School of Business. Born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, she graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor’s degree in English. She has worked in higher education since 2015, serving both undergraduate and graduate students at both the community college and university level. Her experience with different programs and student populations allows her to connect well with others and work collaboratively with faculty and staff to improve the student experience. On a personal note, Abby is an avid sports fan and enjoys hiking and all things outdoors!
Wadzi Kativu is the Associate Director, overseeing five specialized master’s programs (MACC, MTAX, MSFIN, MSECON and MS-SCM). Born in Zimbabwe but raised in Arizona, she attended ASU and earned her bachelor's degrees in Journalism from the Walter Cronkite School. She has worked in higher education since 2011 and has a passion for student success, leadership development and inclusivity in education. She loves connecting with people and thrives on new challenges and opportunities to grow. On a personal note, Wadzi loves to travel, read, cook and spend time with her family.

Your Faculty Director
Jenny Brown is your Faculty Director and is also an Associate Professor of Accountancy at the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. She received her Ph.D. in 2008 from the University of Texas at Austin and has been at W.P. Carey since then. Prior to earning her Ph.D., Professor Brown worked for the tax group at PricewaterhouseCoopers in San Jose, California. She teaches courses on individual and business taxation to undergraduate accounting and finance majors. Her recent research focuses how corporate engagement in the political process impacts taxes.
