Your Admissions Team
Emily Percifull is the Associate Director of Recruitment for the specialized master's programs with the W. P. Carey School of Business. Born and raised in South Bend, Indiana, she graduated from Indiana University with a bachelor's degree in education and Purdue University with a master's degree in higher education. She has worked in education for over ten years and looks forward to using her skills to help students reach their goals. Additionally, she enjoys trying new hobbies, most recently cross-stitching and hiking, and going to Farmer's Markets on the weekends.
Your Program Operations Team
Karla Lee is your Associate Director, overseeing MS-BA Tempe, Online MS-BA, MS-ISM, MS-AIB, Online MS-AIB, MS-EI, and Online MS-MKT specialized master's programs. She is originally from California and moved to Arizona in 2013 to work at ASU after spending a couple years in Washington, D.C. Prior to joining the W. P. Carey School of Business, Karla managed education centers and competitive gymnastics facilities in Silicon Valley. She holds a BA in Education, an MA in Psychology, and an MS in Organizational Leadership. She loves working in higher education!
Harold Ortiz is the Program Manager for Online MS-BA, Online MS-MKT, and MS-ISM. He was born in New York City and later moved to Arizona in November 1999. He received his Bachelors in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and graduated with his MBA from Grand Canyon University. Prior to working in higher education, he worked for 10 years in the food and beverage industry in various management roles in hotels, resorts and restaurants. Harold has close to 20 years of experience in higher education focusing on admissions/recruitment, academic advising/mentoring, teaching and career services. In his free time, he enjoys watching sports, playing golf, running, spending time his family and playing with his 3 dogs.

Faculty Director
Dan Mazzola serves as a Clinical Professor and Assistant Chair in the Information Systems Department at the W. P. Carey School of Business. He teaches both undergraduate and graduate courses in technical topics of web, programming, systems, database and business areas in analytics and decision making. He also mentors applied projects with industry partners for master’s programs. His research interests are in the Strategic Value of Information Technology and career paths for IT Professionals. He has been awarded a number of grants focused upon augmenting technology in the classroom. Prior to his full-time appointment at ASU, Professor Mazzola spent more than 20 years as a technology evangelist, sales engineer, and systems architect at companies such as Sun Microsystems and Datalink. He is also involved in the community. He serves as a board member for SIM, is an Emeritus Board member of the Arizona Technology Council, volunteers for FIRST Robotics, Boy Scouts, and is a founder of the Phoenix Java User's Group, and the Arizona System Administration Guild.
